NIB and Deutsche Leasing Sverige continue cooperation on SME finance

NIB and Deutsche Leasing Sverige AB (DLS) have launched a new EUR 20 million loan programme to finance equipment leasing for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and smaller mid-caps in NIB’s member countries.

The five-year loan facility will support SMEs and small mid-caps in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland in the financing and acquisition of capital equipment. This includes, for example, the leasing of capital equipment in sectors such as construction, transportation, machine tools and material handling.

This is the fourth loan facility agreed between DLS and NIB since 2016.

SMEs are responsible for a considerable share in aggregate output and employment.
