The 7-year-maturity loan totalling DKK 125 million (EUR 17 million) has been provided for financing small and medium-sized enterprise projects in constructing new production facilities, expanding windmill farms, acquiring new trucks for haulage contractors and establishing district heating facilities for clients in Denmark. Established in 1906, Djurslands Bank is a full-service bank running a 15-strong branch network in central Jutland.
The loan facility to Djurslands Bank includes subprojects with positive environmental impacts (investments in wind power and cleantech). It is expected that all subloans will receive the necessary permits and follow applicable laws and regulations. Djurslands Bank has internal procedures to ensure that environmental aspects are taken into account in their credit process.
