Project
The loan has been provided for onlending for infrastructure development as well as small and medium-sized enterprise projects in southeastern Norway. Sparebanken Øst was established in 1843. Today the bank operates a 23-strong branch network.
Sustainability summary
The subprojects proposed by Sparebanken Øst are expected to have manageable environmental impacts. It is expected that all subloans will receive the necessary permits and follow applicable laws and regulations. The bank is to inform NIB about possible changes to the proposed subprojects that could result in high environmental risks for a possible review of the environmental classification and risks.
