Sustainability summary

Husqvarna's environmental responsibility is anchored in all its operations and covers everything from production processes, consumption of material and energy, product features such as exhaust emissions, noise levels, and packaging to the recyclability of products. The acquisition of Komatsu Zenoah's outdoor products operations will not increase today's known and manageable environmental impact. The Zenoah site at Kowagoe in Japan has an ISO 14001-compliant environmental management system. The Changzhow site in China does not have a certified environmental management system.
