Project

NIB has provided the loan in two tranches with maturities of six and eight years respectively for research and development investments in Sweden and Finland during 2020–2023. The R&D hubs in Sweden are located in Stockholm, Halmstad, Norrköping, Landskrona, Eskilstuna and Gothenburg. The hubs in Finland are located in Joensuu and Helsinki.

In 2013, NIB signed a EUR 110 million loan to finance Assa Abloy’s R&D investments.

Assa Abloy AB is a global leader in the industry of locks, entrance automation and security doors. The company was founded in 1994 through a merger between the lock businesses of Swedish Assa and Finnish Abloy.
