The loan has been provided to FERD AS to co-finance Ferd’s investments in new and existing mid-cap and small large-cap portfolio companies in NIB’s member countries.
Ferd is a family-owned Norwegian investment-company committed to value-creating ownership of businesses and investments in financial assets. In addition to the group’s purely commercial activities, Ferd is also involved in social entrepreneurship.
Each allocation under the loan facility will be rated separately by NIB. Eligible investments include allocations to companies with significant growth potential. The business model of Ferd allows NIB to channel funds to mid-caps and smaller large-cap companies that contribute to the drivers of productivity in the Nordic–Baltic region.
Each allocation request under the loan programme must comply with NIB’s Sustainability Policy and Guidelines.
