The loan will finance Instoria’s investments in R&D, tangible capital and ICT during 2018–2022.
Instoria Sweden AB is the legal entity name of the Permobil group in Sweden. The company develops, manufactures and markets mobility and healthcare solutions and accessories for people with chronic functional disabilities.
Permobil’s product offering includes power and ultra-light manual wheelchairs, transportation and communication systems, as well as seating and positioning products. The ongoing R&D programme focuses on developing high-value solutions for meeting the needs of end-users.
Instoria Sweden AB (Permobil) has approximately 1,600 employees in seventeen countries across Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific, and is headquartered in Timrå, Sweden. Assembly plants are located in Sweden, the USA and China.
Fulfilment of NIB's mandate
Permobil is an innovative and fast-growing mid-cap company. Investments in R&D as well as in ICT and tangible capital are expected to contribute to the continued organic growth of the company. The loan is allocated under NIB’s mid-cap corporate lending facility.
