The meeting was hosted by Ola Elvestuen, Chair of the Nordic Council Committee for a Sustainable Nordic Region and member of the Standing Committee on Energy and the Environment in the Norwegian Parliament.

“Thank you for increasing our awareness of what you are doing, and how you are doing it. These institutions are tools that really can be used in what we are working for,” Ola Elvestuen said.

The annual Nordic Council Session is the supreme decision-making body for parliamentarians in the Nordics, and where politicians discuss Nordic issues with the prime ministers and other ministers of the Nordic countries.

During the Session, NIB also has a stand at the Parliament in Helsinki, where Iiris Anttalainen, Associate Communications Officer, and Pamela Schönberg, Associate Director, Communications, inform about the Nordic Investment Bank and its sustainable finance operations.
