NIB welcomes secretariat of new Northern Dimension partnership

A secretariat for the new Northern Dimension Partnership on Transport and Logistics has been inaugurated at NIB in Helsinki.

All signing parties of the partnership have agreed that the secretariat should start functioning in early 2011.

The secretariat shall provide administrative and technical support to the Steering Committee and High Level Meetings in their task of monitoring the implementation of the partnership.

“NIB welcomes the NDPTL secretariat at its premises and hopes the secretariat will promote the efforts in the area of regional cooperation within this important sector,” said Harro Pitkänen, Deputy Head of NIB Lending, at the inauguration ceremony at the Bank.
