NIB signs loan with Lithuanian Road Administration for Gravel Roads Project

The Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) signed a loan agreement on 11 July 2001 with the Lithuanian Road Administration (LRA) for the financing of the Lithuanian Gravel Roads Project for the years 2001 – 2004. The project includes the paving of 630 km of regionally important gravel roads all around the country as well as measures to improve traffic safety. The investment costs fort the project is estimated at EUR 90 million. The NIB loan amounts to EUR 67.4 million.
