NIB loans on a map
NIB is launching an online map of projects financed by the Bank since 2007.
The new functionality in the database of agreed loans (visit the page) will help website visitors to get quicker access to loan information depending on a loan’s location.
“Unlike commercial banks, NIB publishes information on the projects it finances. The new map function will increase the accessibility of this information on our website—now it is more visual and it takes fewer clicks to get to the loan information”, says Jukka Ahonen, Head of Communications at NIB.
The overview map features interactive functionality showing multiple project sites. Sites can be selected by year, country and focus area (values used to sort loan list entries). Individual loan descriptions also feature maps illustrating where the projects are located.
