NIB issues new five-year Kangaroo deal

On 28 January, NIB priced a new five-year, fixed-rate, senior-unsecured AUD 300 million bond. The Bank’s first Australian Dollar transaction in 2015 carries a semi-annual coupon of 2.70%. With this transaction, NIB has seven lines with a total volume of AUD 4.125 billion in the Kangaroo market.

The transaction described in this release (the “Notes”) has not been and will not be registered under the United States Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”), or with any regulatory authority of any state or other jurisdiction in the United States of America and may not be offered or sold in the United States except in a transaction pursuant to an exemption from, or in a transaction not subject to, the registration requirements of the Securities Act. The Nordic Investment Bank does not intend to register the Notes under the Securities Act or to conduct a public offering of Notes in the United States.
