NIB introduces a new Climate and Nature Strategy

To further support the goals of the Nordic and Baltic countries, NIB is introducing a new Climate and Nature Strategy.

The new strategy outlines sectoral goals for decarbonisation, biodiversity conservation, and ecosystem restoration, reflecting NIB’s commitment to a sustainable future through integrated, holistic approaches.

The Climate and Nature Strategy enters into force on 31 March 2026. The strategy was approved by NIB’s Board of Directors and replaces NIB’s previous Climate Strategy.

NIB Climate and Nature Strategy
