NIB has been awarded Kauri Issuer of 2013 by the Australian and New Zealand magazine KangaNews.

This year, the magazine has invited more than 300 issuers, investors and intermediaries to vote for the winners of the KangaNews awards. This is the sixth consecutive year KangaNews’s annual awards have been given out. This is the second time NIB receives this award. The first time was in 2009.

NIB is a recognised issuer of bonds denominated in New Zealand dollars and the third-largest foreign issuer in NZD, both by volume issued and by total volume outstanding. NIB currently has six outstanding maturity lines, totalling NZD 1,825 million. In 2013, the NZD represented the third-largest currency of NIB’s funding currencies.

NIB appreciates the award and would like to thank all investors and voters for the support.
