Slovenska Zarucna a Rozvojova Banka (Slovak Guarantee and Development Bank)

The loan programme totalling EUR 10 million will be utilised for financing Slovak small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) investing in Nordic/Baltic technologies, services or works or having Nordic/Baltic sponsors. The loan programme will also be used for the financing of environmental projects of joint interest. The loan programme will not be covered by a government guarantee. Founded in 1991, Slovenská Záruèná a Rozvojová Banka (SZRB) is a joint stock company owned by the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic. Besides the NIB loan programme, SZRB has established credit lines from Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau, the European Investment Bank and the Council of Europe Development Bank for financing SMEs, environmental projects, municipal infrastructure and housing development.
