Project
The loan has been provided for Joo Group Oy’s project to construct four residential buildings with LEED Platinum certification in Turku and Kirkkonummi, Finland. The total investment cost for the project is EUR 40 million.
All buildings are fully EU taxonomy aligned and have an energy class of A and will include solar panels for on-site renewable energy generation.

The construction of energy-efficient residential buildings improves the quality and sustainability of housing infrastructure in Finland. The buildings demonstrate high environmental standards in the Finnish construction sector and contribute to climate-aligned urban development.

Sustainability summary
The buildings are constructed on previously industrial land, which has been remediated in accordance with Finnish environmental regulations. Solar panels will provide on-site renewable energy.
