Atlas wastewater treatment plant

Gävle Vatten AB is building a new wastewater treatment plant in Gävle. The plant is an important investment in Gävle’s future water management and is expected to become operational in 2031. The Duvbacken wastewater treatment plant has been in operation since 1967. To ensure sufficient capacity for the future and continue meeting stricter environmental requirements, they are now building a new, modern wastewater treatment plant.
