Finance Minister of Sweden: Equal economic opportunities drive productivity

“In 2017, the Nordic Investment Bank continued to show that it is an important vehicle for promoting both productivity and sustainability. The recent explicit acknowledgement of equal economic opportunity as a driver of productivity is an important step to maintain the Bank’s relevance”, says Magdalena Andersson, Sweden’s Minister for Finance, who chaired the annual meeting of NIB’s Board of Governors in 2018. Interim report

Jan-Apr 2018 report published

In the first four months of the year, demand for long-term financing from member country corporate borrowers was the main driver of disbursements. The flow of deals totalled EUR 1.1 billion in new loans and EUR 1.4 billion in disbursements.
