NIB finances wind turbines in Denmark

NIB and Danish Ringkjøbing Landbobank are launching a new DKK 75 million (EUR 10 million) environmental loan programme for financing wind turbine projects in Denmark.

By onlending through the Danish bank, NIB will co-finance wind turbines to be constructed on Denmark, particularly in western Jutland.

The loan will help expand the generation of power from a clean, renewable and reliable source of energy, thus reducing the need for energy production from fossil fuels. The west coastal area of Jutland has favourable environmental and landscape conditions for this type of energy production.

Ringkjøbing Landbobank is a regional bank with 20 years of experience in financing wind power projects in Denmark.
