Loan to Brazilian pulp mill

NIB has participated with an amount of USD 40 million in the financing of the expansion of Brazilian Bahia Pulp’s production capacity. The project will triple the capacity of the pulp mill to 365,000 tonnes of standard grade dissolving pulp per year. The new production line will allow for more diversification in the company’s production and better adaptability to changing market conditions. Bahia Pulp, with almost 30 years’ experience, is one of the world’s leading producers of dissolving pulp.
