On Thursday, 17 November, NIB President & CEO Henrik Normann participated as a panellist in a seminar at the Norwegian Business School in Oslo.

The seminar titled “The Nordics – a world-leading and knowledge-based business region?” was organised between the Nordic-Baltic section of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Norwegian Presidency of the Nordic Council 2017 and the Nordic Association (Föreningen Norden).

The aim of the seminar was to discuss how to facilitate cross-border cooperation within research and business, and how to create new, competitive businesses in the Nordic region.

Elisabeth Vik Aspaker, Minister of EEA and EU Affairs and Minister for Nordic Cooperation, participated as a speaker.

As a commission from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Nordic Association has assigned Professor Torger Reve at the Business School to write a report titled “Et kunnskapsbasert Norden (2.0)” on this theme.
