NIB funds Fiskars Group’s investments in digitalisation and developing its production facilities

NIB and Fiskars Group have agreed on a EUR 50 million loan. The loan will be used to finance Fiskars Group’s investments in digitalisation and developing its own production facilities. This investment loan represents continuity in the long-term cooperation between the Fiskars Group and NIB, as the Bank has provided financing for the company since 1985.

The seven-year investment loan finances Fiskars Group’s investments in digitalisation supporting the company’s digital transformation and making it more data-driven in all its operations.

In addition, the loan finances Fiskars Group’s investments in its own production facilities. The aim of these investments is to reduce CO2 emissions and energy consumption, as well as increase efficiency and the level of automation.

“The business relationship between NIB and Fiskars Group dates back almost 40 years, and we continue our cooperation by supporting the company’s clear digital ambition, which is an integral part of driving growth. By investing in digitalisation and becoming more data-driven, Fiskars Group will be able to further enhance its global market position”, says André Küüsvek, NIB President & CEO.
