Discuss green bonds with us on 12 June

On Friday, 12 June, you are welcome to take part in a panel debate discussing "How capital markets can contribute to sustainable, green economies?" The debate is part of Denmark’s Folkemødet, “People Meeting”, and is arranged in cooperation with the Nordic Council and the Nordic Council of Ministers in the town of Allinge on the Danish island of Bornholm.

NIB’s Governors approve dividend on 2014 annual results

At its annual meeting, the Bank’s Board of Governors approved NIB's annual accounts for 2014 and the payment of EUR 55 million as dividends to the member countries. The Board also assessed that the Bank’s capital situation is robust and that it supports the new initiatives outlined in the recently concluded strategy review.

Avinor to uncork Flesland bottleneck

Traffic growth at Bergen airport in Norway has been strong in the past decade. To alleviate the pressure, the airport operator Avinor is now building a new terminal with enough capacity for ten million passengers a year, almost twice the current capacity.

NIB finances E18 motorway extension in southern Finland

NIB's long-term loan is financing a 32-kilometre stretch of the international route E18 in southern Finland connecting the seaport of Turku via Helsinki to the Finnish–Russian border. Construction is scheduled to commence in summer 2015 and is expected to be completed in 2018.
