Nordic Investment Bank to issue NIB Environmental Bonds

NIB will issue its Environmental Bonds for investors who wish to support sustainable growth. The Bank has established a framework that allows for funds raised through specific bond issuances to be directed to its environmental lending.

DONG Energy: going windward

DONG Energy is building Denmark's largest offshore wind farm. NIB is financing the project with a EUR 240 million loan. With an overall capacity of 400 MW, the new Anholt wind farm will cover 4% of Denmark's total power consumption.

Wastewater association receives a BSAP Fund grant

A grant from NIB's Baltic Sea Action Plan Fund to the Swedish Water and Wastewater Association is laying grounds for a number of investment projects which will reduce nitrogen and phosphorus discharges to the Baltic Sea.

NIB finances new terminal at Oslo Airport Gardermoen

NIB and Norwegian Avinor AS have signed a loan totalling NOK 1,500 million (EUR 192 million) for the construction of the new terminal at Oslo Airport Gardermoen.
