NIB finances high-capacity transmission line in Estonia

A new loan to Estonia's Elering AS will help build a 330 kV transmission line in the southern parts of Estonia. The new capacity will improve the security of power supply and allow connecting potential new wind parks in the western Estonia.

NIB finances dairy expansion in Oslo

A new loan agreement has been signed with the Norwegian dairy company TINE for financing its dairy expansion in the Oslo. An expanded dairy will replace three other dairy facilities and a logistical terminal. The project is also expected to contribute to cutting greenhouse gas emissions.

NIB's climate facility has allocated EUR 3 billion

In four years since the launch of the CLEERE (Climate Change, Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy) lending facility, NIB has committed EUR 3 billion to projects aimed at promoting renewable energy, energy efficiency and other measures of abating and adapting to climate change.
