NIB opens temporary lending facility to support liquidity

The Bank will temporarily increase its lending activities in response to the effects of the financial crisis in its member countries. The new NIB Refinancing Facility, of EUR 500 million, has been created for this purpose.

NIB finances construction of E18 Koskenkylä-Kotka motorway

NIB has provided a loan totalling EUR 91 million for financing of the E18 Koskenkylä-Kotka motorway in Finland. The project comprises the construction and maintenance of 53 kilometres of motorway.
