The 5-year-maturity loan totalling DKK 100 million has been provided to Ringkjøbing Bank (RB) for onlending to small and medium-sized enterprises for investments primarily in wind power, as well as environmentally friendly investments in the farming sector. RB began its operations in 1872. Today, RB is a joint-stock company listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange. RB has approximately 30,000 customers.
Ringkjøbing Bank's lending for wind power projects will have a positive environmental impact. The wind power projects are expected to lead to a substantial reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. A 75% share of the project qualifies as an environmental investment.
NIB finances investments in government property
